How it started
Like many, growing up in the 90s led to a love of dance music culture and DJ mix CDs.
And being a graphic design student, I loved the box art as much as the sound.
In 2012, I uploaded a couple CDs to SoundCloud. Hoping to get more attention to my own mixes. (They were Todd Edwards ‘Locked On’ and Derrick Carter’s ‘The Cosmic Disco’). A decade later, almost 1000 CDs online, 25,000 followers, 4 million plays and counting. But more so, a place to remember our favourite mix CDs, their box art and 60 minutes of electronic music magic.
